Battery-Powered Ag

Battery-powered agriculture offers several significant advantages over traditional fuel-powered agriculture. First, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improves air quality by eliminating emissions from combustion engines. This is especially important in agriculture, which significantly contributes to global greenhouse gas emissions.

*
Hybrid Management Systems

Hybrid management systems refers to the integration of conventional mechanical systems with advanced electronic and computer-based systems to improve the efficiency and performance of agricultural machinery. Hybrid management systems utilize a combination of power sources, such as diesel engines and electric motors, to optimize energy use and reduce fuel consumption.

*
Electrifying Auxiliaries

Electric power is necessary to drive auxiliary systems and components embedded in agricultural equipment. This includes systems such as air conditioning, GPS transponders and peripheral motors, some of which traditionally have relied on mechanical or hydraulic power sources. A combination of electric motors, power electronics and energy storage systems can accomplish this and can be integrated into existing equipment or incorporated into new designs.
