Electrical engineers work with a wide range of electrical and electronic devices, such as power generation and distribution systems, communication systems, control systems, computer systems, and electronic circuits.

What is an Engineer? Engineers have existed since ancient times. Throughout history, engineers have invented new devices to improve quality of life and have designed important structures such as roads, bridges and water systems. Mechanical engineers are just one of many types of engineers that serve society today.
Chemical Engineering
Chemical engineering is clean, transformational and lifesaving. Ten challenges face the world in the next 50 years, including the following: energy, water, food, environment, poverty, terrorism/war, disease, education, democracy and population. A chemical engineer’s problem-solving strengths can help provide solutions to each of these areas.
Industrial
Industrial engineering is a branch of engineering that focuses on optimizing complex systems involving people, machines, materials, energy and information. Its aim is to design, analyze and improve manufacturing and service processes to enhance efficiency, productivity and profitability.

- coordinating student tours of NPPD facilities; and
